The objective is to enhance the capacity to provide timely and accurate meteorological information to protect lives, livelihoods, and infrastructure against escalating risks driven by climate change.<\/span><\/div><div id=\"dikpe_3va4q\" data-component=\"rtf-block\"><span id=\"dikpe_3va4q_5hj4e\" class=\"\" data-text=\"true\" data-z-element-type=\"rtf-text\" data-is-whitespace=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><div id=\"dikpe_5u11g\" data-component=\"rtf-block\"><span id=\"dikpe_5u11g_7iso0\" class=\"\" data-text=\"true\" data-z-element-type=\"rtf-text\" data-is-whitespace=\"false\">The project was launched through a series of events during the week of July 14 to 18, 2025: an internal kickoff workshop at DoM headquarters (July 14, 2025); thematic group assessments across 8 core domains\u2014including observational networks, numerical forecasting, ICT systems, climate models, organizational capacity, high-performance computing infrastructure, communications, and operational cost analysis (July 15\u201317, 2025); a stakeholder kickoff workshop featuring representatives from agriculture, disaster management, aviation, and fisheries (July 18, 2025); and the inauguration of the project office at DoM headquarters to coordinate daily implementation (July 18, 2025).<\/span><\/div><div id=\"dikpe_934pe\" data-component=\"rtf-block\"><span id=\"dikpe_934pe_f86a3\" class=\"\" data-text=\"true\" data-z-element-type=\"rtf-text\" data-is-whitespace=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><div id=\"dikpe_5sqc3\" data-component=\"rtf-block\"><span id=\"dikpe_5sqc3_615eu\" class=\"\" data-text=\"true\" data-z-element-type=\"rtf-text\" data-is-whitespace=\"false\">The project focuses on upgrading forecasting infrastructure, strengthening technical capacity, and standardizing services in accordance with international practices in meteorology.<\/span><\/div><div id=\"dikpe_687k5\" data-component=\"rtf-block\"><span id=\"dikpe_687k5_ftpdn\" class=\"\" data-text=\"true\" data-z-element-type=\"rtf-text\" data-is-whitespace=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div><div id=\"dikpe_eai24\" data-component=\"rtf-block\"><span id=\"dikpe_eai24_8hr50\" class=\"\" data-text=\"true\" data-z-element-type=\"rtf-text\" data-is-whitespace=\"false\">In this project, ISCALE is responsible for core ICT tasks, including: conducting a comprehensive assessment of the existing ICT infrastructure and proposing an overall design for the new system; developing technical documentation, technical standards, and bidding dossiers for equipment and ICT service procurement packages; providing supervision consulting for subsystem integration adhering to international standards;
